Our
Story
VIWC Action for Animals started with a big vision: to one day create a safe, dedicated space for dogs in need to land, heal, and find their forever homes acting as a Foster Facility.
But instead of waiting… we’re starting now with what we have, doing what we can, with the people who want to help!
We are building a community-driven initiative that supports existing rescues, helps connect fosters, raises funds, and brings awareness to the growing overpopulation crisis affecting dogs across Canada, especially in northern and remote communities.

Happening on May 12th 5-8 pm
We are raising funds to support a local rescue that is working with a northern community to host a free Spay & Neuter Clinic. The funds will also be used to assist us with launching a national awareness walk throughout Canada to happen this fall in September meant to unite rescue efforts and bring together those working on the movement of creating a better future for Canada's dogs.
